In December 2017, my students at the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle (Mascaro Clubhouse) held a fundraiser to help the club in Puerto Rico which was devastated after Hurricane Maria. The 5th grade girls created a documentary film to spread awareness.

Audio equipment is expensive... why spend more than you have to?
Hello. My name is Laura Meoli and I'm the host of the LoudaVision Podcast for creative people. I have created an easy online course to teach you everything about creating your very own podcast. --CLICK HERE to learn more-- When starting my podcast, I was using costly camera equipment. Why? I believe that we should try out things we want to try, and not let logistics get in the way. As a filmmaker, I have access to camera equipment and microphones, so I used them to start my podcast. There's no wrong answer as long as it works for you. Eventually, I ended up purchasing microphones and equipment specifically for my podcast. Here's a list of my equipment recommendations for podcasting. Do you have a product to sell? A project to promote? An empire to build? Surely you've heard that any good brand has to be on EVERY social media platform, constantly engaged, always giving fresh content or else you're a complete failure. I'm kidding... or am I?
Social media doesn't have to be a chore. Create and organize an entire YEAR of posts in 5 easy steps. Just think of what you can accomplish without having to worry about your social media dying from neglect? You can build a following and keep them engaged for the entire YEAR- in just two hours today (or tomorrow, or this weekend... really, it's up to you but I'm just saying). Not sure what to post? This guide also includes suggested topics based on research trends. Take the guess-work out of posting and make social media work for YOU with this step by step social media content calendar! Super-fun music video that I directed for Fall of the Albatross. Phillip Ferrigon and LandSky Media on camera. Awesome!
Experimental music video for Fall of the Albatross- directed by LoudaVision Productions with LandSky Media and Phillip Ferrigon on camera. Love this fog machine and fun lighting! This was so fun.
See me struggle through this interview as I overcome my fear of being on the other side of the camera. Seriously though it was a great experience and I hope you enjoy this 1st ever video all about me!
Thanks to Code 360 for the opportunity to share my behind the scenes.
Check out this short documentary I created along with the 5th grade girls at Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle to help Flint, Michigan in their water crisis.
I'll never forget these girls. It was such a rewarding experience to see them engaged and giving back. Thanks to the Picture House for this opportunity. |
